The City of Rochester acquired the building in the 1980's and renamed it the High Falls Building in 2000. |
Date Built: 1888
Subsequent Uses: Rochester Folding Box Co. c. 1896-1916, Williams, Hoyt & Co. (shoe manufacturer) c. 1886-1925, and Genesee Lithographic c. 1901-1905.
Previous Buildings on site: First building was erected c. 1881-1882 for Steam Gauge and Lantern Co. Burned down in 1888 and rebuilt as Gorsline Building.
