Original Owner: It was built for Horatio G. Warner, who was a lawyer, a judge, a newspaper publisher and a banker
Original Use: private home
Subsequent Uses: Other occupants included son J.B.Y. Warner, artist George D. Ramsdell, candy manufacturer F. H. Dennis and Christopher Gian-Cursio (who used it as a convalescent home). It later became the Rochester Civic Garden Center.
Architecture
Design and Style: Modeled after an English castle, it has 22 rooms, black walnut woodwork, and thick stone walls
