Already have a regular Monroe County Library System card?

You do not need an E-Card because you already have access to all materials provided by an E-Card and more!

E-Cards allow Monroe County residents without a regular library account to access MCLS online resources, including:

• Bestselling eBooks and eAudiobooks
• Digital movies
• A wide variety of research databases and articles

However, E-Card accounts CANNOT borrow physical materials.

To receive your E-Card we require:

• Have a valid email address (you will receive your E-Card number by email, please also check your Spam/Junk mail folder)
• Reside in Monroe County
• Complete the form below

If you are not a Monroe County resident, please click here for information on obtaining a non-resident card.

To borrow physical materials if you have an E-Card:

• Present valid ID with current address at your local library
• Present your E-Card number
• Staff will issue a full access Library Card
• Your E-Card will be deactivated and merged into your new Library Card
