Kits to Take Home (Library of THINGS and Seed Libraries)

Libraries offer more than just books and DVDs to borrow. Today you can borrow all sorts of items from your local library including fishing poles, sewing machines, seeds, games and so much more! Listed below are MCLS Member libraries that have some unique collections within their library that you can access for in-house use or check out with your MCLS Library card.

Brighton Memorial Library – Library of Things

Chili Public LibrarySpark Kits, Seed Library, and Fishing Poles

Spark Kits are not renewable. Up to two kits per family. Kits can be borrowed for two weeks. Kits must be returned directly to a staff member during open hours. Learn more about the Spark Kits available at the Chili Public Library HERE.

Fairport Public Library- STEM Kits 

Greece Public LibraryTake & Make Kits  & STAY SHARP KITS

Take & Make Kits include a book and the tools you need to get started with a craft or hobby. We provide the tools and you provide the materials (yarn, beads, etc). The kits can be checked out for 3 weeks.
